Howard Citron is the founder and principal of The Citron Law Firm, P.A.  Mr. Citron has extensive trial experience in the areas of medical malpractice, insurance defense, personal injury and commercial litigation matters.  He has also represented physicians and health care providers in professional disciplinary hearings and other related inquiries.  Mr. Citron is a frequent speaker on healthcare law, medical malpractice and nursing home litigation as well as risk management issues.  He has delivered seminars and lectures to physicians and allied health professionals.  In addition, Mr. Citron has lectured on trial tactics and techniques to various professional organizations as well as to law students at the Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center.

Mr. Citron is a member of the Florida and Texas Bars.  He graduated summa cum laude from the Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center where he served as an Articles Editor for the Nova Law Review.  Mr. Citron is a member of the American Bar Association, Broward County Bar Association, Defense Research Institute, American Society for Healthcare Risk Management, Florida Medical Malpractice Claims Counsel, Florida Society for Healthcare Risk Management and the Florida Hospital Association.  He has also been published by the American Health Lawyers Association and remains one of its featured guest speakers on all aspects of Florida healthcare law. 

Mr. Citron is an active member and contributor to JAFCO which provides assistance to abused and neglected children in South Florida.  He is also a contributor to the Broward County Outreach Program which serves holiday meals to the homeless.
